The Shultz Brigade and Strawberries

Hello! Shultz Brigade here! well, at least, most of us are here, a few are still off with Mumsie shopping! Curious as to who the 'Shultz Brigade' is?? well, it's us! All the Smithy Kiddo's still at home! Please don't ask how we came up with such a silly name, but it was obviously derived from staying up entirely too late and watching way too many Hogans Heroes whilst eating chocolates and laughing, and well, you get the point;)
Any-who, today as our dear Mother took half our group to conquer the empty shelves in our fridge I, Commandanta B (aka Beth) took the others to conquer the rows and rows of delicioso ripe strawberries! We had such a fun time (even if our silly hats kept blowing away;) and there's nothing more satisfying then eating the fruit of your own labors, no pun intended:)And here we are! Just itching to get those juicy fruits in our buckets!

The unconquered territory
The Faithful worker

Well, gotta run and serve up supper for the hungry gang/Brigade! "We got supper in the oven, a good families lovin'" (uh, that's a song;)
Farewell from the happy conquerors,

Pastor Ron Tribute Video

Dear Friends of the Homeschool Advantage:

I am pleased to announce the premiere showing of the most important film we have ever produced. On Saturday, May 9, we will be showing for the very first time the documentary “The Amazing Journey of Pastor Ron” at 6:30pm. The host for this event is the Deliverance Tabernacle of PraiseChurch on Hwy 109 in Molena – in the building where my father pastored for so many years. This feature-length documentary includes testimonies from some of the people who knew and loved him. My mother, Alma; his daughter-in-law,Jacqueline; his grandson, Alan; his old friend who led him to Christ,Ken Roberts; and church members Walter Robbins and John & Denise Hosch. It also includes a photo montage from momentous times in his life, setto the audio recording of his funeral. But perhaps the most significant feature of this film is that it clearly shows how his life paralleled that of another great man – Terah, the father of Abraham. As Terah madethe great leap of faith to carry his family out of a pagan land of idolatry to begin a multigenerational journey that would ultimately leadto his descendants taking possession of the Promised Land, so Pastor Ron forsook his legacy of drunkenness, racial bigotry, and mockery of the things of God, and embarked on a multigenerational journey marked by a love of God’s Word and obedience to it. Pastor Ron became a man like the prophet Elijah, who “turned the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers.” Indeed, it has been reported that when he died, his church may have had the highest ratio of homeschooling families of any Assemblies of God church in Georgia.I work with so many men today whose fathers left them a legacy that they must overcome in order to serve God. For me to have the legacy leftby a father like Pastor Ron is both a tremendous privilege and an awesome responsibility. The main purpose of this film is to help the future generations of the Smith dynasty to understand the importance of taking their place in God’s multigenerational master plan for our family. It is also designed to inspire other men to turn their hearts to their children, and embrace the covenant God desires to confirm withthem, to establish their own dynasty of Godly families who willbuild Christ's kingdom on earth. Griffins 2009 Mayfling

Last Saturday the "Fellowship of the Father Band" had their first formal appearance at the Griffin Mayfling in the city park! I'm not sure why they called it a "May" fling, since it was April but we sure did have a jolly time! The Antonions, Lane's and my dear Grandparents were all able to join us there and then they all came back to the house for a delish lunch of lasagnas and KFC (which seems to be our special food any time people come over!!)
Later on the kiddos' and I went back to the park and saw the ugliest yellowish/white snake that was absolutely ginormous!! Unfortunately we didn't get pics of it but we did get a pic. of another snake (aka snack LOL! sorry, family joke;) that was quite large too!

Bye, Bye BB party!

2 Sundays ago was our last Sunday with our dear Brittney as an unmarried lady, so all of us young ladies gathered in the back yard for a "Bye, Bye" party. We had such grand time talking of all the wonderful memories we had made together and ones we hope to make (for instance, meeting Brittney's future baby;) and just enjoyed spending time with each other one last time!
We love ya B!

Resurrection Sunday

When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus' body. Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb and they asked each other, "Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?" But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed. "Don't be alarmed," he said. "You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him.
Mark 16:1-6

God Bless!
