~A quick Smithy update~
Well y'all, Sunday evening Bethy, the little guys and I, were watching Hogan's Heroes after supper when Daddy came in announcing that he was leaving for Moultrie in ten minutes! His question of "do you girls want to go?" was followed by gasps, and then girls screaming and jumping over couches and scrambling for shoes and coats and chocolate, (the latter being essential for any car ride, of any duration of course). Our objective was to pick up Michael and Kressant and fetch them up to Griffin. A delightful prospect!!! So Bethy and I kissed Mumsie and the little boys goodnight, climbed in the truck, and drove off, stopping a couple of houses down to dispose of a stowaway cat that had determined to join us for the drive. When we arrived Bethy and I ran upstairs and had the grand fun of surprising the girls who were already asleep and not expecting us! We stayed a couple of hours talking, and I was thrilled to finally see Michael and Kressant's apartment. It is just adorable! Then we loaded up along with Michael and Kressant and Daddy and Michael drove home. We are just loving having Michael and Kressant here for a few days, though we are sure the Morton's miss having them next door.
I also talked to Alan this evening and received news that he and Katie are on their way home from Illinois! They went up to a friends wedding, then went on up to Michigan to visit our grandmother, and then are stopping at a friends house in Kentucky on the way back down for the night.
Well that's it for this evenings update. So much for 'quick', lol. Well well. Hope yall enjoy the pictures!
~Sincerely,
Rachel~

Working on it:) I've only seen it once myself, and that was late at night. Hopefully we will be able to catch a few when we take Michael and Kressant back home, if it's alright with them. It's just lovely!

Well, no they don't have electricity, so she won't be starting a blog. Though I'm sure it would be very exciting if she had the means, or the time:) She is an excellent homemaker, and a wondeful example to me!
