Ah yes, captivating sifter!! Dear Miss Anne! Did your darlin' boys take your sifter to the sand pit too?
I do say that a sifter is a very clever thing, indeed! I've known so since the old age of 4, when my brothers and I sifted sand and dirt. :)
LOL! Oh sifting sand Ivy dear! That so cute of ya'll! We used to make mud pies in the driveway! One time we took Mamas stirling silver pie server outside and used it for some adventure or other,and lost it....Ohhhhh. That was terrible!
I can't wait to see you Ivy dear!! Lord willing I'll see ya in TX!

Oh my! Yes, I can remember some of the things we dragged out into the dirt and lost! Mama says that she lost an entire set of stainless steel and a few pieces of silver out in our sand pile! My poor mama!
I can't wait to see y'all in Texas, too! Oh it is so lovely of the Smiths to take us with them. My parents are happy we can attend and I'll be very glad to be with such godly friends! The only problem is that I know for sure that I'll be so terribly homesick for my family!!
Oh dear, dear miss Ivy, we are ever so excited that we shall have you for the trip!! What a merry party we shall be on the journey home!! Goodness, you should have seen this household when we girls were told you were coming. LOL!!!
If only we could grab up your dear mama and sisters and take them with us! I'm sure you shall miss them dear.
