This afternoon Mama returned from a day of tending to my great aunt Jackie with an armful of family heirloom quilts! I laughed with glee and held the wonderful treasures! Most of them were quilted by my great aunts, mother-in-laws, aunt and are very old! Oh what richness! Bethy here holds the quilts for y'alls preview.-Kressant Posted by Picasa

I think you're putting these pix on right as I'm typing!

But what drooling richness! Heirloom quilts! They look bootiful! :)

We have old family quilts everywhere in this house. Some aren't completed, Lol!I have in my hope chest a quilt found in my great-great (possibly great again?) Auntie Maude's steamer trunk.

Missing y'all much!

Love, Ivis

Hey Miss ivylum! Wow, I'll have to see them next I come! How are the LUUUUmmus' doing? How we miss our eastern cousins!!!!I spoke to Rachie a little while ago and Sir aurthur was just dandy, was eating or I should say had been eating a fare amount of chocolate though. LOL. Miss you too!

Eating a fare amount of chocolate? OOPS! That will explain the french accent phone calls we've been receiving from the Phonecia. LOL!

I sincerely hope everyone is OK about the french accent stuff on the boat. It can become very silly and almost irritating! :)
Arthur Pen Dragon can also impersonate the "gubenor of Calyforna (California):Arnold Swartzenager. LOL

And you know who else he can impersonate. . . poor guy, he was embarrassed afterwards.

I do hope they can come home very soon!!

Love, Ivis

P.S. It's imperative that I set my bridesmaid's dress sleeves tomorrow! Have y'all found crinolines yet? I'll need a size that could fit Rache or Amanda. . .
