Reunited once again
Yesterday Charlie and I departed to our ole tyme friends The Turners (Who we met a loooonnngg time ago in PR when I was just 4) home located about 35 min. away in McDonough. Charlie dropped me off as he had a few clients to tend to and I joined the Turner young ladies: Jane, Amy, Dianne, and Ruth in their endevours to clean their lovely home before the evenings activities. We had an enjoyable time and I was reaqauinted with a living relative of one of our old and forgotten friend; a vaccuum cleaner. Now these vac's that the Turners and Smithies owned were of some time past when vac's were just coming out (not really LOL) in the day's of instead of pushing, you pull behind you attached to a short hose, a sort of lumpy low hugging ground machine that grumbled and got stuck under every piece of furniture in the room. Our's had a few differant heads that were attached by a complicated series of cords and switches taht promptly broke and we girls could never figure out without the help of Charlie. It did however have one redeeming quality, that was with the cord. When you were finished you simply unplugged the machine and then gave a pull on the cord and it wound it's self up working MOST of the time. LOL. We retired ours some years back but too my amusment I had the wonderful oppertunity of stepping back into time and vaccuming our friends home with wonderful childhood memories. We were amusingly reunited, and though I did not get a pix; I shall in the future to "try and get that thought into my head" LOL

Okay...you must be either close or in ATI. The Turner's were kind enough to lend us their big green van 2 years ago when we wrecked our big blue van. They are such good people.
Do you go to Calvary?
Christi
Dear Mrs. Christi, my family is not apart of ATI however, our friends the Turners are. We met them when I was just a little girl, around the age of 4? They are indeed a very sweet family! I am assuming that Calvary is a church? We attend a local church in Griffin "First Assembly of God" and then a friends fellowship in south georgia. Where do y'all live now?
We are in Covington. We would love to meet you guys one day.
I can't remember how I found your blog but I have enjoyed it.
