The Morton's Arrival

Friday night after our cousins departure, we cleaned up supper and finished up our chores. Around 1am (I think) the Morton's arrived! We girls flew about getting things settled for the evening. Sometime after 2 we girls hit the sack, Miss Addi may, Katie, and I on the couch in the den and the other girlies in the great room. And then, sadly; I must say that I am guilty of talking and keeping my sweet guests awake until 5:30! I know, how could I? The poor things only got one hour of sleep as we were up at 6:30 fixing the guy's breakfast. But oh it was soo much fun! What lovely chats we had! After breakfast we fixed the guy's sack lunches as they are going to a gun show for the day. ( If you are thinking of joining the Smith fam for the night, you can be assured that I will probably not keep you awake for that long...at least I hope not.... LOL
