This past week, we have been so blessed to have the Zwoenitzer family from Washington visiting and fellowshipping with us! They arrived last Sunday and to our dissapointment left Thursday morning. Our visit contained late night card games and readings of a favorite and hysterical book, mini concerts and music lessons (Isaiah attempted to teach me the harmonica but i am lost when it comes to musical instruments) a trip into the woods where we built a dam, and found an armadillo skeleton, jolly meals outside, fun cooking experiences, a birthday party for Israel and and a baseball game. We hope to have many more such memories with the whole family! Posted by Picasa

Saturday evening, we all piled into SEVERAL vehicles and started out for Cairo! We drove an hour or so and turned into the Plaths driveway as the sun dissappeared over the horizon. Our breath was taken away and gasps of delight escaped from the can as we drove through the winding drive way elimnated by the flickering fairylike lights of votives in mason jars! This was just a foretaste of what was next to come! We arrived at the house and a beauitful vision met our eyes, white lights hanging from the trees, house, and a large white tent! There under the tent we found tables beset with dishes, handmade ice boxes with sparkling cider, tall dainty glasses with rose petals proudly bearing our name placements! Ahhhh, need I say much more? It was lovely! Thanks so much to all the dear ladies who made this event so special! Thank you especially the Plath and Lummus families for all of your hard work! Posted by Picasa

This past weekend, Daddy, Charlie, Arman, Rachie and I traveled up to Oakridge TN to attend our dear friends the Pethtels wedding! We met Stephanie Pethtel and her family last year when the before mentioned family members minus Arman drove out to Idaho to make a movie. The Pethtels were so gracious to have us stay in their home and Nick and Steph were actually in our movie. Well, the Pethtels stayed with us for the Father/daughter last year and having toured the south decided to move down to TN! AFter their move and a few exchanged visits we were so happy to hear that Steph was betrothed to a young man by the name of Michael McDermott of Springfield MO. Posted by Picasa

The Smith familia is back home loaded with picures and memories from a few of our wonderful friends! This last weekend we had the pleasure of a visit with the Sanders, Lummus, Davis, Plath, and Campana families at the Morton's residence, as we all gathered for the Bridal showers of my new Sissy Kate! Daddy and uncle Ed worked on editing the last of our footage for th emovie show, Charlie helped and talked to my sissy Kate, the little boys were organized by Rachie and had a ball scrubbing the back porches and cleaning up all of the sticks from this past winter. Beth and I cleaned the house and for lunch, uncle Ed was so sweet to go out and get us bar-b-que! Just as we were fixin' to eat, our aunt Leanna and uncle Scott popped in! They joined us and then we returned to our work. Later in the evening, Daddy and uncle Ed decided that we all needed a bit of the outdoors air and called us out for Daddy's version of baseball. It's quite differant from regurlar baseball and a whole lot more fun!  Posted by Picasa
