Edwards Visit

Thursday evening 5 minutes after Mama and I had returned from Town with groceries, the dear Edwards family from TN arrived! Along with them they had brought a wonderful cut of venison from jakes first deer that he shot a few days prior! We had several kitchen mishaps from the ruining of three batches of cookies to the half cooked roast which would not cook all the way through. Anyways after may spills, laughs, smoking alarms going off, and crazy improvations in recipes; we all gathered for prayer. Uncle Scott and our cousin Becky joined us and we were a very merry party. A little more worn for the ware but closer friends and sisters.
