Arman

Hey y'all! Well Mama, Charlie, and Arman departed the house this morning for Atlanta.
Here is a little news reel from Mama. I'll try and keep this updated through out the day.

Arman Smith, 8 yr. old son of Bret and Jacqueline Smith will have surgery tomorrow, Thursday, November 10 at 11:55am at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Surgery Center.
The pediatric urologist will circumcise Arman, also repairing a minor problem, then he will repair a hernia; next the pediatric ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat specialist) will remove his tonsils and adenoids, which should improve his breathing problems, and maybe even improving some of his speech difficulties. Arman will be asleep for just over an hour; they anticipate sending him home the same day. I anticipate one miserable little puppy for a few days!

Every is asking whether Arman understands what is going to happen to him tomorrow. The answer is yes, and no! We've talked more about the throat issues, as you might imagine. Is he anxious? Only when we discuss it!

To the church staff: Arman is the child adopted from Kazakhstan who was hosted 3 summer's ago by the Cloer family.

Your prayers will be appreciated!
Sincerely,
Jacqueline Smith
