Saturday-Weekend with the Morton's

Saturday morning we Smithy's departed for the Morton's residence! Our arrival was followed by a delightful lunch, and cotton chat, amongst the usual ordinances of the day. The evenings activities consisted of preparations for the ceremony and a wonderfully scrumptious chicken dinner followed by a lovely evening walk in the lane!

A wonderful story in the making...

We have the wonderful privilege of watching one of the most beautiful stories to be told, a story of betrothal which is a picture of Christ's love and commitment to his bride; the church! Sunday evening found friends of the Morton and Smith families gathered together to witness the public declaration of commitment of Betrothal between my wonderful Brother Alan, (also known as Charlie) and Miss Katie May Morton! We are so truly blessed that the Lord has brought together such a wonderful and joyful event! We give glory and honour to our wonderful Savior Jesus Christ!
